42k for Cancer tops $300k

London, Ont. - A small group of dedicated runners from London Health Sciences Centre's London Regional Cancer Program have successfully challenged the Boston Marathon four times since 2007, raising funds for cancer research in the process. The original goal in 2007 was to raise $1,000 per kilometre for the 42 km marathon route. With their most recent effort this past May, 42k for Cancer teams have now raised more than $300,000. This year's team consisted of (from left to right): Dr. David Palma (two-time participant), Richard McClelland, Dr. Kevin Fung and Dr. Joseph Chin (four-time participant).
