London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF) wants to keep you updated on the actions being taken to safeguard our community. In the news we are seeing more cases of COVID-19, including London and southwestern Ontario. The next two weeks are absolutely critical in this fight against this medical crisis. London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) has asked us to reach out to encourage you, your family and friends to stay home and practice physical distancing to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Together, we will get through this unprecedented public health emergency.
We are grateful for the many members from our donor community who are asking how they can help our hospital and our front-line medical professionals. Encouraged by their dedication, we established a COVID-19 Response Fund and we are seeing a very positive, growing engagement.
The Response Fund will help support the urgent and highest priority needs of London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) in the fight against COVID-19. Funds raised will be used to support our front-line healthcare professionals, as well as to purchase critical equipment and technology to enhance our ability to diagnose and treat patients during this difficult time and beyond.
