Message from the President & CEO

London Health Sciences Foundation wants to assure our community that we are watching closely as the situation with COVID-19 continues to unfold globally. As part of our commitment to open and transparent communication, we want to continue to update you on the actions we are taking to safeguard our community and staff.
We have made the decision to close the office to all visitors, effective March 17, 2020, and to have all staff work from home. This measure will be in place for the next three weeks with a return date of April 6, 2020.
The health and safety of each member of our community is our highest priority. As such, we are in regular communication with our hospital to ensure everyone is following the protocols that support their health and well-being. Specifically, we have taken the following steps:
- We have postponed, cancelled, or converted to conference calls any meetings scheduled for the Foundation office. In addition, all meeting with donors, volunteers, and LHSC staff will be held by phone where possible during this period.
- We will continue to accept donations online and by mail at:

London ON N6C 2R6 - All Foundation events, tours, announcements to be held prior to May 1, 2020 are hereby canceled or postponed.
- We are recommending to our third parties and community event committees that any events scheduled prior to May 1, 2020 be postponed. We will reassess events beyond May 1, 2020 as the situation progresses.
- Please check back for updates about future events and communications by social media, our website, and other means. We want to assure our community that we are watching closely as the situation with COVID-19 continues to unfold.
Lastly, we want to encourage everyone in our community to follow us on social media. We will be posting updates on Facebook and Twitter as we move through this difficult time, and we want to be sure you stay fully informed.
