Dream Lottery returns with lots of choices

Dream Lottery dream home

With a history of early sellouts, it’s clear that Dream Lottery is the region’s lottery of choice. That’s not the only reason Dream can claim that title. This Fall’s Dream Lottery Ultimate Grand Prize Winner will have quite a time choosing which prize they will take from the five options offered.

There’s a fully furnished Dream home by Vranic Homes Inc., in Kilworth’s Edgewater Estates. The luxurious 2335 sq. ft. bungalow is designed and crafted to be comfortable, sophisticated and functional for today’s modern family (total value $1.25 million). There’s also a fully furnished home by Bridlewood Homes in London’s Silverleaf community. It’s a comprehensive exercise in modern architecture that inspires and delights in a 5,285 sq. ft space where a family can relax and feel completely at home (total value $1.425 million).

And there’s more to consider: The Lifetime of Adventures Package includes gift certificates from Precision Powersports, Hiemstra Trailer Sales Ltd., Courtesy Ford, and Xtreme Marine, along with $750,000 cash (total value $1.03 million). The Backyard Makeover Package includes a gift certificate from TLC Landscaping Design + Pools and $750,000 cash (total value $1.03 million). Of course, the winner can opt for $1 million in cash instead.
There are also many other prizes to be won in Dream Lottery’s early and final draws, such as cars, Ontario getaways and more. All the big prizes offer the choice of a cash alternative.

The easiest choice is to support the lottery’s cause. Each purchase of a Dream Lottery ticket helps change the lives of patients from across Southwestern Ontario who need the specialized services at St. Joseph’s Health Care London, London Health Sciences Centre, and Children’s Hospital at LHSC. Dream Lottery has raised almost $42 million (net) since 1996.

Even more to win.

The new Making a Difference Calendar features daily prizes in February, March and April 2021. The 50/50 is back, with a guaranteed $250,000 payout and a prize pool that keeps growing. It topped off at more than $1.26 million in the last draw, with the winner taking half. A Dream Lottery ticket must be purchased in order to buy 50/50 or Calendar tickets.

Dream Lottery tickets can be purchased by calling 519-488-7100, or online. Making a Difference and 50/50 tickets can be ordered at the time of a Dream Lottery ticket purchase. After buying Dream Lottery tickets, 50/50 and Calendar tickets can only be purchased by phone.

Early sellout, early final draw.

The Grand prize and 50/50 winners’ announcement are scheduled for January 7, 2021. However, Dream Lottery has a history of selling out early, so getting a ticket early is recommended. If Dream Lottery is sold-out by either the Early Bird or Bonus deadlines, then 50/50 and Calendar ticket sales will also close and the Grand Prize and 50/50 winners will be announced in December.

Home tours are online only.

In order to protect the public during the current situation, the dream homes will not be open for in-person tours and will only be available to view virtually through the Dream Lottery website.

“The nearly $42 million Dream Lottery has raised since 1996 for research, equipment, education and specialized patient care, allows London’s hospitals to be at the forefront of medicine and provide excellent care for our region.”

“Over the last six months, our communities have focused on COVID-19 and its impact on our lives. Although some things have changed, the impact of Dream Lottery has not. Proceeds continue to ensure that London’s hospitals have the resources to provide the best possible care for all patients.”
