The Donor of Distinction Societies President’s Dinner is an annual, invite-only, celebration of philanthropy and gratitude for our most generous supporters hosted by London Health Sciences Foundation’s (LHSF) President & CEO. Each year London Health Sciences Centre’s (LHSC) leadership, physicians and Foundation come together to recognize and showcase the life-changing contributions Donor of Distinction Society members have made to LHSC. These acts of incredible generosity have led to enhanced patient care, new technology and cutting-edge research and education in the London region, and beyond.

2026 KEYNOTE PRESENTATION

This year’s keynote features two dynamic panel discussions that explore the progress made possible through donor generosity and the innovations shaping the next chapter of patient care.

Moderated by CTV News London’s Julie Atchison, each panel brings together LHSC physicians and researchers who will share insights into past breakthroughs, current advancements and the opportunities emerging on the horizon.

Together, these panels will highlight the essential and enduring role philanthropy plays in improving care for patients and families across our region and beyond.

Dr. David Palma

Radiation Oncologist and Clinician Scientist
Founder of the Canadian Pulmonary Radiotherapy Investigators (CAPRI) Group and Author of Taking Charge of Cancer: What You Need to Know to Get the Best Treatment
Dr. David Palma is a radiation oncologist and internationally recognized leader in cancer research and clinical trials who is helping redefine the future of patient-centred cancer care.

Dr. Alp Sener
